Kinetic determination.Of a salmon thrashing upstream.Because it must answer a call of fate or consequence.We only glimpse a swish of its passage.Through that gauntlet stream.Marveling at the weary strained muscles which have endured discomfort and agony.What burdens does it bear? Perhaps more,perhaps less than our own.Different yet the same struggles and perservering will.
Thanks Robbie/Alem. I have seen your stairs gallery Alem, and I found it inspirational. When I took the picture what went through my mind was what Robbie described, the irony of getting something you though would help you, and in the end it becomes the burden you have to carry...maybe a metaphor for life, butu someting abouot struggle. Hello Kal this for me is a very strong image . For me it smacks of lifes struggles ,
you get a bike to carry the load you have and make things easier , only to end up having to carry the bike aswell. Like this shot well done.

I see your idea here, Kal. But, personally, I think it is a bit too pessimistic as a metaphor of life. As a foreign observer, I would more see as "metaphor of life" the picture "journeys".
Have you ever checked my gallery on stairs ?
The introduction says: life is made of stairs: some climb and some descend.
Think about it and let me know.
