Springerville is in Apache County, about 220
miles northeast of Phoenix.
Through this high level of service, the Springerville
Police Department has seen a better than 93% result in
arrest and/or conviction of investigations. Even though
our crime rates are significantly lower than the national
average, burglary is down 13% in last two years.
Springerville is in an area known as Round Valley,
in the foothills of the White Mountains. The town, on the
banks of the Little Colorado River, grew around Henry
Springer's Trading Post. It was established in 1879,
but was not incorporated until 1948.
