1st Brigade, 5th Infantry Division (Mechanized)
was sent to Vietnam in Jul 1968, serving in the I CTZ.
During its service, its parent division was inactivated
(assets going to reform 4th Infantry Division).
The brigade was withdrawn in Aug 1971.
