Comparing to the image of 1998 you might notice that the dry-dock ship serving
as a Pier 40 Harbor Master Office for such a long time has been removed, probably
sometime between August 2002-March 2003. It is sad, this ship was a very original
requisite to the Marina. Of course, the presence of the stadium is also sad to
the yachties, but guess what: Baseball friends like it and we are in the minority...

Below the small pier is the seldom used Pier 38, which though might offer you
a docking space for the lunch or dinner, if the Pier 40 is full. Keep it a "secret"!
Exciting is though the return to the yacht once the Pier 38 offices are closed. You
will have to pass the fence somehow, develop there you own technique and method!
