Very Few Boat Houses Have Been Rebuilt Thus Far

West End on Lake Pontchartrain

Only two on this stretch have been rebuilt and one sold for $800,000. This is prime real estate on the lakefront for boating enthusiasts.

Southwest Louisiana after Rita has only 3 houses rebuilt....All the rest were completely washed away. Still looks like a ghost town there. I pray that not another hurricane hits New Orleans or my family in the southwest section of the state.
