Former Site of Sid Mar's Restaurant

Bucktown

This entire little peninsula was part of the quaint little fishing village of Bucktown.
Sid Mar's Restaurant was known for its wonderful seafood and family atmosphere and was always jammed with people waiting for shrimp, crabs, fried fish or crayfish, especially on a Friday night when the restaurants of Bucktown and West End boomed.
The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers is misappropriating all of this property at post Katrina value and Bucktown as we know it will no longer exist.

Bushs administration?
No it was the corruption of the democrats spending levee money on their fountains that caused this.
Now that the messiah is in charge do you really believe his group will act any differently toward all
of us who lost so much?

We loved Sidmars. We knew it was gone, but the picture shows how complete the devastation is. Six months later.
If anyone in this area still supports Bush's administration, I don't know what justification is being used.
