This house was moved about a mile and sits on the Great River Road on the west bank in Edgard in St. John the Baptist Parish. It has been in the Marmilion family for 13 generations and Norman Marmilion recently bought it, moved it and is restoring it. It will have a gallery with columns, bannisters etc.
He has already planted 13 live oaks in an allee to represent the generations. It is a work in progress.
