Pork Roast Stuffed with Andouille Sausage

Louisiana

I'm going to get thrown out of this group because this was not taken today; circumstances beyond my control.
Andouille sausage is made with cut-up (not ground) pork shoulder and seasonings and garlic and smoked for many hours in a smokehouse with a pecan wood fire.
It is in a platter from the late 1800's that belonged to my paternal grandfather.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Oh Nooooo! Here's me debating whether or not to go out on my bike to get some exercise or start dinner ..... this doesn't help at all! It looks sooo tasty!

This looks absolutely delicious to me and thinly sliced too. Very nicely presented too on this old platter. If I didn't live so far away, I'd jump in the car and drive over for some.

Pass the stuffed pork please. I LOVE andouille sausage!
(I have the same Lenox Autumn china Coleen).
Maaike Huizer09-Sep-2009 08:44
So andouille is not the same as andouillette?
Looks nice.

Very nice setting here and shot, wonder what the sauce would be?
Maybe a Red wine sauce made of Bordeaux? Bon appetit!
