Tonight was the last performance of the society’s production of “The Diary of Anne Frank.”
We were very pleased to welcome Eva Schloss, Anne’s stepsister, to join us for the evening.
Joe Maher’s direction of “The Diary of Anne Frank” was first class.
Not only myself thought that the production was up to “west end (of London) standards.
It was a superlative effort and was all the more amazing as it was Joe's début as director.
Eva Schloss suffered similar experiences to Anne, but survived.
With her mother, she too was in hiding for over two years, was betrayed, and was sent to Auschwitz.
After the war her mother married Otto Frank.
Note: I need to get more practice at bouncing flash off the ceiling.
