Excellent shot!
I forgot about pancake day, this year. When I was a kid we'd have savoury pancakes followed by sweet pancakes. But we were never allowed to toss them - that was mum's job!

I've never known about pancake day racing, though! Maybe the UK should declare it a national sport, and then another country can beat us at our own game!!

I missed this! What on earth!? This is so hilarious!

You live and learn.
Next time rather than go up on the Town Hall balcony, which I thought was very clever, I will stay down low and try for a zoomed in close up of one contestant. That should have more guts to it.

Very nice composition! It's good that their speed is in decending order (from right to left).

Well remembered Chris! I had planned to go to our local fancy dress event, but forgot:-(
What a madcap sport, typical PAD thing!
Good shot.
