Hi

I did a couple of trips as R/O when I worked for Marconi. Golly they even gave me a Junior R/O. Little enough work for one of us but total bordem for 2. Trip to Vancouver for timber that was great and a trip to South Africa. Must have been in about 1959.

Never forget the expression "hungry Hogarths" which was commin in Marconii Co at the time.

Brings back alot of memories. I did my first trip to sea on the Ardrossan, two weeks short of a year 1964/65
