Oman

The above was used as part of a fun astro poster at A0 size. This picture (at roughly 80 cm wide) constituted the bottom of the glossy print. Came out very well. I just love camera lenses on these large sensors. I had asked the kid which did he prefer, a blue Lagoon or a red one. He chose red. So I got him a meter wide print for use as the headboard on his bed. Also came out very nice. One major problem with extra-large inkjet printing at your local photo lab is to get the operator to print astrophotos at the right density/brightness. They have no clue as to how bright/dark things should be, so they make you a test strip a few inches wide (ink and paper ain't cheap), and then you make the wrong judgement because you do not see the overall picture... Printer profiles? Count yourself very lucky indeed if the operator has any clue as to what you are talking about.

Love this one Samir. Driving in space, that would be awesome! And the destination viewer just adds to it. And the young child is a cutie!
