St. Ambrose Catholic Church

There was a large Italian emigration to St Louis in the last years of the 19th and early 20th centuries, and many settled in an area now known as "The Hill". This Catholic church is the center of life in this vibrant neighborhood that contains some of St Louis' finest restaurants.
