Cape Flattery

There's a colony of nesting seabirds on the pedestal-shaped island. A bald eagle flew over the island shortly after I took this picture, causing quite a commotion.

My girlfriend would have liked to have seen that bald eagle.

I've learned my lesson. Not only do I clean my sensor before trips, but I now pack my cleaning kit. It came in handy this time. Of course I ended up needing a camera repair kit too. But at least it was still functional. A new body is in my future.
