Human emotion always speaks of human values. This one more than most. It is the kind of image that remains in the mind because of the intensity of the response, the lean of the head, the expression of the eyes, and the incredibly incongruous toothless mouth. Ana is right -- there is great beauty in this person, and you have found it and expressed it.
This is a fantastic photo. Usually we all go for the photos of the children, because it's always so easy to find beauty in them... But this time I chose this one instead! The man's expression, the wrinkles the joy in his eyes... all this was fantasticly captured in this photo. This was a capture of one of those moments when we really think: Wow! I am so happy that I could make this photo.
Great work! This photo does not tell a story, it surely tells many and I think that most of them aren't pretty, but his smile is...
