Robin, you are quickly becoming a top photographer on this site. I wish I had your eye. Great work. This is a unique bus stop bench too. My imagination starts to run away here. I could have some fun with this.

Fabulous shot!! Excellent capture, with a story I'm sure! Love the black and white with just a small amount of selective coloring! Vote!

Of all places, it makes me wonder why she chose to sit there. Perhaps more relaxing for her? :)
Excellent candid shot.

Stunning Robin. What a story. Gotta be one of your 10 best.
Coleen Perilloux Landry11-Nov-2005 04:36
Well done. She knows where to get some sunlight without a bus running over her and it is probably stopping the wind.

So you did get out for a walk today! Great capture. I love the way this bus comes out of the MTA window. The woman looks like she's enjoying the sunny afternoon.

you are so funny. Stop the bus indeed.

This is absolutely wonderful Robin. Nice selective color although I dare say the image is so strong it really doesn't need that gimmick. There is so much to see and wonder about here. Well done.

Great capture! Very well seen!
Cheers

Fantastic candid! A sad story being told here. The woman has a pained look on her face. Maybe she is wondering if sitting in front of a bus will put her out of her misery faster than death by cigarettes. The desaturation adds to the power of this image. My compliments! GMV.

I like it, seems dated, but the headlamp bothers me. Auto Tech by trade.
Zak10-Nov-2005 20:50
they have fancy benches over there!
royalld10-Nov-2005 20:30
Great shot... at first I thought she was stopping the bus.
Interesting use of desaturation.
Not to be overly critical, but that bus needs a new headlight.
