May 19: Updgrading PaDs

Rancho Bernardo, CA

My PaD posted earlier in the day (see NEXT) created about as much excitement as a 1 megapixel camera. I can always tell when people are not too entranced by my efforts when I get few if any comments.

Pouting from the rejections (;-) I salved my bruised ego by making a new purchase. Neener, neener.

We can't wait to see what new creations and concoctions you come up with this new tool in your creative arsenal!

Oy... I got mine a couple of days ago as well and so far all I can say is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. And they've taken away a few things so I feel like I've got a lot of learning to do. I did not however see your spider post until I just noticed the thumb. Will look at it now and render my opinion. Good luck with the CS2 learning curve.

So that's what I have to do to get my new D2X?
Michael Todd Thorpe20-May-2005 04:40
I know how you feel, Robin. And sometimes I'm stumped by what people will respond to...
Oh, yes, Jeanne... They purchase this. I just did. The whole Creative Suite.... Yeowch!

I didn't see your earlier shot. I certainly like the theme behind this one.
Guest 20-May-2005 03:37
I wasn't aware that people actually PURCHASED this LOL!!!!

You have entirely too much disposable income. But have fun and I'm expecting a quantum leap in your images with new PS!

Hey, I can't figure out the one I've got...!! I didn't respond to your spider cause I hadn't seen it yet...It's fine, it's good, now stop pouting & start using :>)
Gayle P. Clement20-May-2005 02:16
Oh, no, now I have to get it too!
Elaine (etfitz)20-May-2005 01:56
I'm so jealous!
Karen Leaf20-May-2005 01:50
Yeah! I want one with my name on it too!
I wanna know about the batch conversions from Raw. And the spot healing tool. And all the bridging stuff. And the perspective thing. I can see some BIG play time coming from Rtwo shortly :) Read on!

I guess Photoshop masters such as yourself deserve their own personal copies.
Guest 19-May-2005 23:57
Good stuff, I realy like it :-) Great new raw import..among other things... Have fun
Guest 19-May-2005 23:47
How'd you get a personal copy????? You dog, you! Now I'm mad.

Please share with us what if any install problems you have - I'm planning to upgrade as soon as I know it's "safe" to do so!

:) HEY yours came with a user guide :(
I upgraded from the Suite to the new CS2 Suite... lots of great new stuff. I personally like the ability to run scripts/batch process from Bridge..
Guest 19-May-2005 23:22
I've heard quite some good things about this upgrade. Have fun :)
Gary Blanchette19-May-2005 23:19
So what are the upgrades from CS? I may be going out to purchase the entire Suite in a week or two.
