Alice Springs, Northern Territories

I’m quite enjoying Alice Springs. This morning we visited the Alice Springs Desert Park which included excellent displays of the habitats of the Desert Rivers, the Sand Country, and the Woodlands.

Wonderful colors. It seems that perhaps European dress was fashioned after the collar of this bird in earlier times. It looks like an Elizabethan collar. Glad you're enjoying your holiday abroad.
