Marcia McLatchy, Director of Parks and Recreation (Ret.) shares fond memories of her years working for *** George Loveland **** who retired last night as Assistant City Manager of San Diego after 38 years of service.

During the past few years George had tried to retire several times. However at the behest of the Manager and Mayor he was asked to "stay on" more than once; so one of the jokes last night was “is this retirement for real?”

Yes it is and I look forward to seeing some Padre games with George.

Great portrait Robin!!. She seems to be a very nice lady. I like that yellow light which hits just in some areas of her face, add a special touch. also the black background fix perfect!!
