This home may be a bit of a snore compared to other earlier posts, however it is close to my heart. Built in 1901, my family bought it in 1949 (mortgage was $50.00 per month) and we lived here about 20 years.

Picture me leaving this modest home every day to walk to nearby North Junior HIgh School and then to come home to wrap newspapers on the glass porch for my paper route which I plied with dedication for over 3 years on my trusty bike!

I never thought I’d ever leave Colorado Springs, however I have been in California over half my life.

Nice home, Robin. I could live here....well, there's a couple of other houses posted today I could live in too...hmmmm...maybe just spend a couple of months in each. I love the feel of this place. It has that warm homey feel. Very nice of you to post this and share it with us!
