Painted Lady butterfly egg

This egg, of many, was deposited on both a Pentas and Lantana plant.
Light blue in color, the eggs are just slightly smaller than the head of a common pin, aproximately .050" dia (1.27mm).

Hand held shot with "lens stacking" of Nikon T-6, Nikon T-5, and Raynox 2.5x.
Aprox. total diopter=12; Aprox. power=4.0; Aprox. Focal Length=3.5". Estimated DOF .050".
