We took a morning walk in Palm Coast's one-year old linear park. The park's pathways wind through more than four miles of forests, gardens, waterways and neighborhoods. | ![]() ![]() |
![]() ![]() | We worked up a good appetite so we stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Breakfast is the only meal I like from Cracker Barrel. The lunches and dinners I have had there were a little too "fried" for my taste. |
For those not in the USA, Cracker Barrel is a chain of restaurants normally found along our interstate roadways. They are a country style restaurant and 'general store'. Cracker Barrel elicits a strong reaction from those familiar with it. People seem to either love them or hate them. Many people boycott Cracker Barrel because the company has not always been politically correct. As for me, I enjoy eating breakfast there; and I am aware of no business, of any kind, that has ALWAYS been politically correct. This world is too big, varied, and interesting for me to shun everything I don't fully agree with. So, a big order of fluffy maple pancakes and a side of chewy bacon is the only thing Cracker Barrel has to get right for me to stop-in. |
