As I mentioned in yesterday's post, we are waiting out the high wind conditions in Elizabeth Harbor near George Town, Exuma. This is not a bad place to wait. There is a fairly large city here with goods and services available. Many vessels that plan to go further south to the Eastern Caribbean use George Town as a reprovisioning port. |
One of the important services is offered by a young businessman known as Perez. Perez operates the WiFi service for the area. Thanks to Perez I have been able to upload some photos and attempt to view some of my PBase favorites. However, PBase is so slow I have been able to comment on only a few. | ![]() |
![]() | Another important service, more important than the Internet, is free reverse osmosis water. The quality of the water is outstanding. The drawback is, I have to carry the water by five-gallon jerry-cans. |
