Transportation away from our boat, when anchored in a harbor, to and from shore is via a small boat we call a dinghy. Depending upon the wind and the sea-state the ride can be beautiful; or it can become a full-fledged wet and wild adventure. We have had our share of both so far this trip. The weather normally moderates as we get closer to Spring; so the dinghy rides should become more and more tame as we get further into the year.

Cindi asked in a comment on a picture in this gallery, "How long will you guys be gone?". There is no real answer to that question. We have provisions on board for more than two more months. So when our supplies start to dwindle, or if we start to get homesick, we will turn toward home.
I do miss being able to see all of your galleries. I feel like I am very much out of touch by not being able to see the great photos my PBase favorites are taking now-a-days. That is just one of the many costs one has to pay when venturing out to explore remote tropical isles. |
