This is the time of year when cruising sailors turn their vessels toward the tropics. Many cruising boats will make a stop at the George Town Cruising Regatta in the Exumas. Don and Mary Carlisle will chair the regatta again this year. They stopped to visit Jill and I on their way to the Bahamas to prepare for the regatta. Traveling with them are their two very personable Jack Russell terriors, Hook and Shiner. Jill and I plan to sail Shibumi to the Exumas in late Winter 2007. We will catch up with Don and Mary there in March.
