29-AUG-2006

August 29, 2006

I took only four shots today. Most of them looked cluttered like this.
The day was spent preparing for tomorrow's tropical storm.
After we stripped the canvas off of Shibumi's deck, I prepared the Porta-Bote to deploy the beam anchors.
The beam anchors will keep Shibumi away from the dock in high wind conditions, I hope.

Is it my machine or is the speed of PBase for the past few days badly restricted?

Took me 1/2 hour last night to upload one pix - I even did a defrag over the weekend thinking it was my machine - glad to know its not! Great pix and please be safe!

Hopefully your preperations will not be in vain. I have been unable to upload pictures for the past few days and I am not the only one. But all appears to be well now.

Nice shot of the preparations for the coming storm.
They are returning the shuttle back to the launch pad, so hopefully it will not be too bad.

Pbase has been slow. I think Slug must have tied it down too tightly while preparing for the storm.

Hope you are safe! Yes, pbase has been giving me a lot of problems.

Pbase has been having major problems for the past few days.
One look in the forums and you'll see.
Hope you make it though the storm without any problems.
