April 12, 2006

Again, I thank those who have asked about my hand.
It is much improved.
Although I see the doctor the day after tomorrow,
it will probably be few weeks before I will be able to get the hand dirty or wet.

Shibumi sits ready for our next trip,
which may be a short two-night run to St. Augustine and back
or a week long cruise to Cape Canaveral to visit the space center and see a rocket launch.
There is Delta 4 Rocket launch scheduled for mid-May.
We will have to wait until I get full use of my left hand again before we make a decision.

Happy to hear you're on the mend. And Shibumi looks well kept and ready to go. I'd go for the rocket launch. :)

hmmm. plenty of room? How come I can't find enough room in the empty Kmart lot to turn my car around, lol!

Ed: Yes, the canal is eighty feet wide.
Subtract the docks on each bank that leaves a 60 feet basin.
Tight?
Yes, but plenty of room to swing a 44 foot boat.
As I have proven, the key is to pay attention while handling the docklines.

doesn't look wide enough to turn around in this channel, david

When your hand begins to itch, I guess it will be time to set sail again.
