Journey's End

Shibumi is back at her dock behind our home in northeast Florida.
Jill is anxiously awaiting a new grandbaby.
I am working back into my role as a couch potato.
And we are both a little confused as to which is the real world,
our landside home or life aboard Shibumi.
I never felt more alive than when running a cruising sailboat.

Now is a good time to thank all of you who cheered us on as we traveled.
What marvelous friends you are.
THANK YOU

I am amazed by what is possible today.
During the first Gulf War, many of us were astonished that CNN
could take us right into the war zone by use of satellites and digital photography.
Now, using digital photography and a cell phone modem,
I was able to take you along for our two and half month long voyage aboard Shibumi.
Again, thank you for visiting.

We are making plans to sail the Abacos and the Exumas, next spring.

We all had nearly as much joy as Jill and you, we didn't have the hard work to do.
We saw the enjoyable bits.
Thank you both for taking the time to let us all see the cruise.
