March 10, 2006

I really appreaciate the email's and comments in reference to **yesterday's PaD**
It is good to know that people are concerned about what we do to this earth.

We are waiting in Boot Key Harbor, near Marathon
for the wind and the waves out in the Atlantic Ocean to be more to our liking.
According to the forecast, we may be here another week.
But that is okay, there is plenty to do within a short dinghy ride to shore.
If we get tired of waiting we will change destinations,
and go where ever the wind blows us.

Onboard, I do at least three SuDoku puzzles a day.
I just started reading 'Where is Joe Merchant?', written by Jimmy Buffet.
It is set in the area that we are now exploring and, much to my surprise, I find it quite engaging.

**Quick review of the trip so far**

Those puzzles are for smart people only~ I stay far away! Makes my brain hurt just watching people solving it.

SUDOKU!!! Yes!!! My daughter got me started this past Christmas when she asked for a book on it. Now I've got my own book, a Palm Pilot version, and a website I can play on my desktop. Love it! Great idea for a self portrait -- even though we can't see your whole face, you DO look like you're seriously concentrating!

You and me both. :) I think I might be getting better at it. Great self portrait. Looks like you're debating whether that number will work in that square.

I need to learn how this is done. Don't work too hard :)

it's a tough life but someone has to do it ;>)

You should be swabbing the deck, not reading and playing.
