MiG-21SPS-K 441 (c/n 6709) entered service with the LSK/LV on January 30th, 1968. The last unit where this Fishbed-F saw service was JG-1 'Fritz Schmenkel' at Holzorf. It became Der Weisser Hai as 22+02 (next picture) and was scrapped on November 13th, 1992, at Drewitz.
441 is pictured here in better times on the flightline at Holzdorf, late in the afternoon of September 26th, 1990. The last flying day of JG-1. On this day, more than 37.5 flying hours were made by the Geschwader.
