The last flying day of JG1 at Holzdorf went on until the evening. There were plenty of flying hours left for the unit, more than they could ever handle. MiG-21UM 169 (c/n 03695174, delivered to LSK/LV in July 1973) speeds back to the flightline early in the evening, after yet another sortie. The 'Qualitäts'-symbol next to the serial indicates a well maintained aircraft. Total of 2,174 flying hours and became 23+52 before being scrapped.
