This Elk bull had already chased away another large male and after displaying his dominance his unique song echoed through the woods.

Fantastic capture, Matt! We were in Jasper and Banff the last two weeks of September. While we saw lots of elk, none was so gracious as to pose so perfectly for us! We've heard elk bugle before, but never caught one in the act--at least not up close. Vote.
