As I was inching along in my car just north of High Pines looking at the many sparrows and juncos that were flying about everywhere - hanging from goldenrod and other low plants and hopping about underneath them, this Longspur flew from the dune brush into the road right in front of me. It moved quickly across the road and started foraging at the roadside. I was able to get this shot from the car window of my first Longspur of the season.
