This Governor's Citation, in recognition for his service in the US Army during WWII
and for historical photographical reference work of the 56th Signal Battalion,
was presented to Bob Searl, Sr., on behalf of Verizon Communications
and the Governor of the State of Maryland, USA. The award was presented in
Luxembourg, on June 20, 2004, by Colonel Heath Twichell, U.S. Army, Ret.
