--MY RETURN TO OMAHA BEACH--These photos are from a June 2004, WWII 60th Anniversary Tour visit to Europe, including Paris, The Beaches of Normandy, Bayeux, Caen, The Ardennes, Bastogne, Verdun, Luxembourg, The Buchenwald Concentration Camp at Weimer, Dresden, Potsdam, Cruises on the Rhine & Elbe rivers and a three day stay in Berlin. Photos are difficult to record my inner-most thoughts and recollections of those horrible days, as I recalled the sadness and death of youth and the loss of deserving life on the assault beaches of Normandy.This collection of photos include copies of my own tour activitiea and may include those contributed for display by members of the tour group, as noted and who remain the sole owners of the each photograph as listed. I wish to thank Patrick Elie of Normandy Area, France for his time and help in contributing his much appreciated guidance and personal photos of my tour activity while in the Normandy area.
