This afternoon I visited Gatineau Park for the first time this year. I was dropped off with my bike at the welcome area at the base of the park and I biked up towards Pink Lake and back. This scene is not typical of what I encountered. Most of the trail passes through very hilly wooded terrain and half of it is not paved. But this is my favorite area along the trail because there are nice views of the hills.
