When walking around the woods here it is not uncommon to be mobbed by a flocked of friendly chickadees, nuthatches, and sometimes even woodpeckers. I always bring a bag of food for them and they readily take it right out of my hand. Some bird species are very tame while others are very shy, it's the nature of things!
