McConkey's Ferry's House, at the Delaware river. Built 1752 located at Washington State Park, Bucks County, PA
This is where General George Washington and 2400 of his troops crossed the then frozen Delaware River on December 26, 1776 to surprise attack the Hessians in Trenton, NJ during the Revolutionary War.
It served as General Washington's headquarters prior to his crossing of the river on Christmas night 1776.
