Friday 1st April 2005 - Day 104
Norfolk is synonymous with many things. The Broads, being flat, farms, mustard, Sandringham, reeds... to me though, Norfolk recalls beautiful bird watching opportunities.
The afternoon was spent wandering around Titchwell, a reserve on the North Norfolk coast. There were numerous Avocet, a beautiful wading bird. Now, I am old enough to remember these birds being nearly extinct in the UK. Thankfully this is now no longer the case, and the Avocet is thriving.
