Stonehenge

Thursday 31st March 2005 - Day 103

Ever since I started PaD'ing, as well as improving my photography (I hope!!!), I have noticed that I take seeing things less for granted. Devon to anywhere is a reasonably long drive, and usually requires a journey past Stonehenge.

I've been doing this journey, off and on, for three years now, since moving to Devon. Also, in my life I have twice lived close to Stonehenge... and never been there before!!! Well, I've now rectified that. Photographically, the best view is actually a distant view of the stones (which I can get another time), but can now at least say I've seen it up close.

Glad you shared this with us! We have a replica of it build near us...not nearly as spectacular as the real thing :)

Very nice. The real view of it looks great, as compared to my bonehenge. I look forward to your overall shot. Perhaps soon?
