Saturday 26th February 2005 - Day 70

In between the coughing and spluttering, and wrapped up well, I took a
an afternoon stroll up the East Okement river, not far from my house.

I was struck by the amount of moss accumulating on a lot of the boulders… maybe this is a sign of several things – moisture (yep), clean air (yep), and lack of sunlight (well yep, its in a deepish valley at this point). The river, though is a bit less in spate than I was expecting, maybe it isn’t so wet here !

Used a polarising filter for ND purposes, in an attempt not to blow out the highlights on the water.
