Exeter Cathedral

Wednesday 5th January 2005 - Day 18

The sole beneficial result of a wasted trip into Exeter city centre this lunchtime was a series of photos of the cathedral... everything I planned to buy had sold out. Anyway, a few minutes wandering around the cathedral area was fruitful... There was some odd lighting at luncthime, so I chose to exaggerate it slightly, hence this viewpoint.

Wonderfully dramatic image. The rainbow is a bonus!

Fantastic capture, Lee. The angle that you took the photo and the darkness of the sky make for a very dramatic picture! Quite a contrast to the slight rainbow that you see in the sky. Oh how I'd love to see beautiful European architecture for myself someday.....

I really love the mood in this picture. The sky almost appears as if there is a slight rainbow. Very dark and spooky image. Very very nice. You truly do a great job with your pictures.
