Shlomo Kol Yaakov (Jerusalem, February 2006)

Archaeologist and tour guide Kol Yaakov came to Israel to dig. He started out as a simple worker, sifting soil. The thing that mattered most to him was that the soil was that of Jerusalem. Whether to lead the excavations or to be a worker already was secondary. Together, we studied soil dumped by VAKF from the Temple Mount. Then Shlomo said a terrible thing: "if it wasn't for the Muslim's attempts to destroy history on the Temple Mount, we wouldn't even have that..."
