PaD 20-MAR-2004

Some days are rougher than others. I surely would not survive as a photojournalist.

We passed by this fella when he was sitting on the ledge about 45 minutes prior. There was an empty bottle of brandy next to him at that time.

I was lucky enough to have an additional CF card as I was so worked up by the articles in the paper this morning about some of the protests around our area I left without checking my camera or setting it up. I got to the protest in time to take pictures and talk to a few of the participants, but got no pictures of sweet elderly ladies holding WMD signs. I should have really stopped and checked after the intial shot was still on timer. About 30 shots and about 3 hours later, I saw the "NO CARD". Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Some will be there tomorrow. So will I.

I do not know what happened to this fella. I know some one called 911, but we did not stick around to watch.

Oh man! Shooting with no card in. That would bite. There is a custom function that you can set to prevent the shutter from releasing if there is no card in.

It's sad to see people like that! I just love the expression on the guys face looking down at him!
