Near the ground, the forest has been busy regenerating after the fires. While the sun has bleached the majestic, now bark-free Mountain Ash trees in the canopy.
Visually, the result is a contrasted landscape. It’s a landscape that will bristle with mixed emotion for at least a few decades.
