Below the painting of Christ is a free-standing statue of Saint Joseph,
patron of the Mission, and was originally made in Spain in the 15th C.
It is one of pieces that made it thru the '68 quake.
The two figures above the painting, the dove & God the Father, are both
carved, as are the silver candle stick holders. Those are original pieces.
The alter & choir railings are all copies of original railing pieces.
I was amazed at what I saw & read.
