Once we arrived at Cook Lakes we dropped our packs and Steve scouted out campsites. Norah couldn't resist checking out the outlet between the two lakes while we waited. We ended up with a fantastic site close to the shore of Upper Cook Lake. We set up camp and ate dinner then paid a visit to our fellow hikers who were camped nearby. We enjoyed chatting with them and watching them cook. They had fresh food and a wok - definitely a step up from our dehydrated meals!
