With its graceful bronze sculptures, the Turtle Fountain was installed near Cranbrook House in 1924. It is one of four
replicas in the United States of La Fontana delle Tartarughe (Fountain of the Tortoises) in Piazza Matteii Rome.
The others are in Sarasota, Florida; Newport, Rhode Island; and San Francisco. Notice the turtles
at the top of the fountain.
