From my Gallery, “Some Photographs Taken at the Gerlach Fall Color Workshop in the Michigan Upper Peninsula”

The area on the right was deep in shadows and had almost no detail. So I combined six images in an HDR using Photomatix.
The Gerlachs strongly recommend HDR's in these situations, and the software is miraculous.
