21082005 exploring the abbey ruins

Today we paid our annual visit to the ruined Jevaulx Abbey in the Yorkshire Dales.
A long walky beside the river, a sit-down in the tea-shop garden and then time for
my favourite bit, exploring the abbey! Last year you may remember that I jumped into
a trench used about 800 years ago as the monks' privy and had to be rescued by Dad.
This year of course I knew better than that! Older and wiser - right? ;-)

LOL at Northy! Nicely composed here. Can you tell if Pooch remembers his last visit to the abbey?

Another great and funny image of Pooch! Framing is really good, as other said, also the expression of Pooch. How can you always get all those expressions? Un metteur en scène ;-)

The lighting and framing are magical, and the half-guilty
look you're getting from Pooch :)

You should be privy to all the dangers by now.

What a smart dog you are Pooch, no matter what all the cats and squirrels say about you. :-)
Great photo by the way. Love the lighting and the framing of Pooch by the arch.
